The Wise County Jail Officers are responsible for booking in and out all persons arrested and brought to the county jail, as well as maintaining the security of the facility. The Booking Area is the first stop when a new inmate is brought to the Wise County Jail. All paperwork, pictures, and fingerprints are completed at this "first stop".
