WISE EYES 04-19-06             After Hours Movie-Hoax

The Wise County Sheriff's Office has received information of several subject entering a convenience store in the south portion of the County asking the manager/owner of the store if they could rent the store to shoot a movie after hours. There were two separate incidents of subjects entering the store and wanting to use it after hours. 

The first group of subjects was two white males asking to use the store to shoot a religious film in the store after hours. The second group of subjects consisted of three white males and one white female they too wanted to shoot a movie after hours but did not indicate the movie was a regions film. The owner of the store did not notice what type of vehicle the first two men were driving but she did see that the second group was driving a white van but no other information is available at this time. The owner could not give a description of any of the individuals except that they were white mal and a white female.

The Sheriff's Office wants to remind our citizen that when an incident like this occurs to notify us so that we can inform other businesses to on the look out. General if you are approached with a deal that sounds to good to be true it probably is. There is a good possibility that these people are looking the business over to determine the amount of security and determine if the business is a potential burglary site. If someone contact you  requesting to use the business, contact the Sheriff's office so that a deputy can be sent to investigate the individuals.
