The Wise County Sheriff’s Office, along with officers from the Department of Public Safety Auto Theft Division, have been working numerous offenses that have occurred at the Zimmerer Kubota & Equipment Inc. Equipment from the dealerships in Decatur, Denton, Cleburne and the Haltom City areas have all had equipment stolen from their yards. The thieves have even taken the truck and trailer at the Denton dealership loaded with equipment.
One of the most recent pieces of equipment stolen is
a Kubota RTV 900R with the Camo coloring on them. The RTV 900R is the “
Cadillac version” of these RTVs. Some models have enclosed cab with air
conditioning/heat. The attached photo is similar to the type of equipment that
has been stolen. The Zimmerer Kubota Dealerships have had about 10 of them
stolen along with other pieces of equipment in the last year.
The
truck that was stolen is a 18-wheeler style truck that was white and orange in
color and the trailer was black and had the VIN numbers welded onto the frame of
the trailer. The Kubota zero turn radius lawn mower is another piece of
equipment that has been really popular with thieves lately.
