 Marijuana Found at Residence  Selling to Juveniles

                         The Wise County Sheriff’s Office received information that Ruben Rodriquez 41, of  Aurora was selling marijuana to area juveniles. On October 30th, 2007, Wise County Deputy David Magers, Boyd Police officers Jason Cobb, Vince Estel and narcotics officers went to a residence on Airfield Road and conducted a narcotics investigation. Narcotics officers submitted a request for a search warrant on the residence and received one from Judge Melton Cude.

             Officers began the search of the residence and found numerous bags of white crystal-like substances, (suspected methamphetamines), numerous smoking pipes, and a green leafy substance (suspected marijuana). Both substances were field tested, and tested positive for methamphetamines and marijuana. Total weight, packaging and all, of the methamphetamine was 2.1 grams and the marijuana was 0.5 grams

            Ruben Rodriquez was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1: over 1 gram but less than 4 grams and possession of marijuana under 2 ounces.  Rodriquez was transported to Wise County Jail and a bond amount of $ 25,000 on the possession of a controlled substance and *$ 750 on the possession of marijuana under 2 ounces.
