AMBER
ALERT INFORMATION The City of Decatur has activated the AMBER
ALERT on November 8, 2005 with the abduction of a 6 month old baby boy named
John Christopher Stephenson about 18 inches long weighing about 15 lbs,
possible abducted by his non-custodian mother Alicia Pearl Stephenson, 26
last seen driving a Lt Blue (Baby Blue) 1992 Chevy pickup truck. Possible
directions: Justin, Texas or Durant, Oklahoma. Possible vehicle license number
of Oklahoma or Texas /3CGJ22, or something very close .The child’s
grandparents have been awarded custody, as mother is not mentally stable with a
possible drug abuse problem. Physical description of mother is, a white female,
5’05”, 115 lbs, Dark Blonde hair with Brown Eyes, last seen wearing a light
color halter top with “spaghetti straps and Blue Jeans. AKA: Alicia
Youngblood. Possible sightings were at the FM 407 truck stop in
Wise County yesterday then later in Bryan County, in Oklahoma, but neither could
be confirmed. As of 9:00 am November 9, 2005 the City of Decatur is still
looking for the abducted child. The City of Decatur is asking if anyone has
information or has seen this vehicle or Alicia Stephenson to contact the Decatur
Police Department at 940-627-1500 or the Wise County Sheriff’s
Department at 940-627-5971.
WISE EYES UPDATE-AMBER ALERT CITY
OF DECATUR 11-09-05 Decatur Police Chief Rex Hoskins said this afternoon that Alicia Pearl Stephenson of Durant, Ok was arrested on a traffic stop on Farm Road 156, outside of Justin, Texas just before 1:30 pm. John Christopher Stephens Jr. the abducted 7 month old, was found and is OK. Hoskins Said she will be brought back to Decatur. More details to follow as they develop. Stephenson is the 26 year old who allegedly abducted the baby. An Amber Alert was issued because the grandmother Linda Hull, said she felt the child was in danger. Hull also has temporary custody of Stephenson’s three other Children. * Information as posted on the WC Messenger Update website. 11-09-05
